General Description

A purpose built hall of residence within the BU portfolio, available for first year students attending BU but it is owned and operated by Campus Living Villages (CLV), who are the landlord for all residents.

Cranborne House is a large accommodation block located on the Lansdowne Campus, home to around 500 undergraduate students, it has a great community feel. Ideally placed to house students from the Faculty of Health and Social Services as the new Bournemouth Gateway is next door, there are several floors dedicated for these students and CLV will accommodate specific contract lengths.

The ResLifeBU programme and annual bus pass is included in rent.

Prices are based on 2020/21 and may be subject to change for the 2021/22 cycle.

Local area

It is within walking distance of all our buildings on Lansdowne, as well as the centre of Bournemouth, the beach, plenty of shops and restaurants, and the Student Union-run nightclub The Old Fire Station. Regular buses to our Talbot Campus run from just outside.

For HSS residents 41/46/50 weeks £250 deposit, plus two weeks rent in advance against the third instalment payment. Annual rent split into 3 instalments. Arrivals weekend 19/20 September 2020, timeslots can be booked in the online e-induction which is completed at the beginning of September.
