Large Standard Band F

The Founder's Building was opened by Queen Victoria in 1886. It is now home to 500 students and also contains a dining hall, café, chapel and Picture Gallery. Band F are Large single study bedrooms, arranged in single gender corridors with up to 24 other students. Founder's has a pantry facility to make hot and cold snacks, and our dining halls cater for all dietary requirements e.g. Halal, vegan. Even though this hall is catered pay-as-you-go, you’ll have access to a pantry. Pantries are a kitchen type area designed for you to make drinks and light snacks and are shared by up to 24 students. The pantries are professionally cleaned daily, but it’s also your responsibility to keep the shared areas clean and tidy. Founder's Hall has its own Launderette.
