Single Superior Standard Band D1

These self-catered halls are on the northern side of the main campus. These very modern townhouses offer more space for relaxing and socialising than other halls, including a lounge area and a kitchen. There are two bathrooms per landing, so you’ll share with one other student. The rooms contain a large bed for single occupancy and 9 or 12 students share a communal kitchen and lounge area. There are adapted or inclusive rooms within some of the townhouses. The kitchens are cleaned weekly, but it’s the students' responsibility to keep the shared areas are clean and tidy and remove rubbish on a daily basis. Bathrooms are shared two to every four bedrooms. George Eliot has its own launderette situated in the amenity block. Each hall has a reception point where you can report maintenance problems, top up your College Card, and get advice or help. The George Eliot reception is on the ground floor of the George Eliot Centre, Block D. Open Monday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm.
