Medway En-suite Accommodation

Uniquely, Medway campus reinvents a former naval base as a 21st-century study space, with outstanding specialist facilities and support this multi-site campus is friendly and close-knit, with students from a variety of backgrounds working and socialising together.

All of the University of Kent's Medway accommodation is situated in our stylish Pier Quays development, which is a short walk from the main Pembroke campus site and is neighboured by the beautiful River Medway with its popular walking/cycle route continuing around to the Dockyard. All  rooms are en-suite bathrooms with spacious kitchens with a guaranteed accommodation offer for firm choice students when you apply before 30 June, as well as number of additional benefits when booked through the University of Kent (including a Sports membership).

The Medway campus has two sites, Pembroke and The Historic Dockyard Chatham located a 10 minute walk apart and is close to the towns of Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham which are full of surprising literary, and historic connections including a source of inspiration for Charles Dickens, and a redeveloped historic dockyard which once built Nelson's famous ship, HMS Victory, and is since the filming location for numerous Hollywood films.

The University of Kent is part of a unique partnership with the University of Greenwich and Canterbury Christ Church University, known collectively as the Universities at Medway. The social spaces on campus are used by all students so you get to meet an even wider range of people and enjoy campus life with plenty of places to socialise. We also operate a daily free campus shuttle between Medway and Canterbury, so you can enjoy everything University life has to offer across both campuses.
