Woodland Court

Woodland Court is for senior undergraduate (Year 3) students only. It consists of 25 townhouses situated close to Edge Hill Sport and Creative Edge on the eastern side of the campus. Rooms are set in houses of 8, 9 or 12 bedrooms on the upper floors with shared kitchen and dining facilities. Rooms cost £130 per week (12 bedroom townhouses) or £135 per week (8 and 9 bedroom townhouses) for academic year 2023/24 with utility bills included. Costs are £135 - 140 per week for 2024/25.

Woodland Court is located on Edge Hill’s Ormskirk campus, so students will have everything they need to feel at home all in one place. In just a few minutes students can head to the library, walk to lectures, or get to one of Edge Hill’s many academic buildings. Between lectures, students can make use of sports facilities, or head to the Arts Centre or the hub for entertainment, culture and food on campus.  

Just a ten-minute walk away, or free shuttle bus ride, is Ormskirk town centre, with plenty of shops, places to eat and drink and a park to get some fresh air. With a market twice a week, it’s a great place to pick up fresh fruit and veg too.

The North West is also home to some of the world’s most famous football teams, iconic seaside resorts and beautiful stretches of UK countryside. Just a 30-minute train ride away is Liverpool, a hotspot for music, sport and culture, while Manchester is a 50-minute drive away.
