Canterbury Postgraduate Accommodation

Our beautiful self-contained Canterbury campus provides a welcoming environment and a close-knit student community. Most postgraduate students live in our en-suite accommodation in Woolf College which is one of our six college communities. Your accommodation includes a Kent Sport Premium Plus membership, all utility bills (water, electricity, heating and Wi-Fi), personal possession insurance, a college common room, reception 24/7 security, housekeeping team and laundry facilities.

Plus a guaranteed accommodation offer for firm choice students when you apply before 30 June with contracts offered to match your academic registration period. 

Social facilities on campus include various cafés, bars and bistros, a cinema, theatre, gym, sports facilities, and Student Union managed club. We also have an excellent Student Support and Wellbeing team available on campus plus lots of study spaces and facilities across campus.

All of the University of Kent's postgraduate accommodation is located on the Canterbury campus and are just a few minutes walk from Templeman Library, which sits at the heart of the Canterbury campus.

Overlooking the historic city of Canterbury and its Cathedral, the University of Kent campus is only a 25 minute walk away from the city. Additionally, a regular UniBus service gives you the best of both worlds with our 300 acres of green parkland campus just a 10 minute ride away from the bustle of Canterbury city centre with its medieval buildings, lively bars, atmospheric pubs and a wide range of shops. Meanwhile 20 minutes in the other direction on the bus, will find you in the idyllic seaside town of Whitstable.

London is an hour away by high-speed train and we're also the closest UK city to mainland Europe, so you can be in Paris, Brussels or Lille within two hours.
