Darwin Houses

Darwin Houses offer self-catered accommodation for postgraduate students undertaking short-stay academic programmes of under 39 weeks. Arranged around a beautiful rose garden, they are terraced houses for four to seven people, located on central campus.

Darwin Houses offer postgraduate-only accommodation with a shared kitchen, shower and toilet facilities, with adapted rooms also available. Your nearest catering outlet is Origins bar in Darwin College, with a relaxed, fun and informal atmosphere.

No deposits are needed to secure a room when applying, and for 2023/24 a Darwin House room costs £6,046.95 Included in this is a Premium Plus Membership for our on-campus facilities at Kent Sport, all utility bills (heating, water, electricity, Wi-Fi) and personal possessions insurance. A Flex Catering package is also available for an additional cost.
